- Product Description: GE Fanuc Discrete output module for 90 - 30 series PLC offers 8 input points with one common power input terminal and 8 normally open relay circuits. Input circuits have either positive/negative characteristics and offers sink/source current to/from the input devices. Each circuit has an output switching capacity of 2 Amps. It is compatible with a wide range of devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches and electronic proximity switches. Normally-open relay circuits are ideally designed to control output loads. Relay outputs control a wide range of load devices such as motor starters, solenoids and indicators. The 24-VDC bus on the backplane provides power for the internal relay circuits. It has LED indicators at the top to offer ON/OFF status of each point. Module has circuit wiring information on the surface towards the inside and circuit identification information on the outside surface. The top half of the insert is blue color to indicate low-voltage circuits and the bottom half is red colored to indicate high-voltage circuits. Module can be conveniently installed in any I/O slot of a 5 or 10-slot baseplate in a 90 - 30 series PLC system. It has a voltage rating of 30 - 32 VDC, current rating of 7.5 milli-Amps and a power rating of 80 milli-Amps at 5 VDC/70 milli-Amps at 24 VDC. Module has a maximum ON response time of 15 milli-seconds and maximum OFF response time of 15 milli-seconds. Input/output module provides the interface between the PLC and external input devices such as proximity sensors, push buttons, switches and BCD thumbwheels. It supports different voltage ranges, types, current capacity, isolation and response time to meet your application.
